Yes! My cat really enjoys outdoor walks. But one important thing to remember is that the cat walks you and not vice versa. My cat will not follow me and I respect that afterall they are not dogs, so I respect their independent personality. I t is best to not go too far from home though, you never know she may get scared of something and be uncontrollable. It depends also on your cat's personality. Be sure to get a harness that is not arund the neck areas but on the shoulder area to avoid choking her. The best is to get the cat gradually introduced to the outdoors if she is indoors by making the outings longer and longer until she is fully relaxed and more confident. Good luck! I am sure you both will enjoy the outdoors.

Yes. Buy a harness at a pet store and a leash. Let your cat wear it around the house for a little while to make sure that the cat cannot get out of it and run away. It takes some practice to get your cat to walk with you, but it will be fun once you both get into the habit. It also helps to take along some treats as a reward for walking so nicely. Good luck.

Certainly! Get a Cat harness and let your Cat get used to wearing it before going outside. You may want to attach cord or string to the harness handle your end to make it longer so the Cat has a little more freedom.

in the starting up fleas are extra effortless contained in the summer season even as it truly is hotter - they have a tendency to die off in iciness. component is, maximum cats HATE being walked! :-) except you prepare them in a harness as kittens, you'll have some very unhappy cats in case you attempt to stroll them now. they'll favor a harness really than a collar (they'll slip out of a collar, it truly is an significant protection requirement). With my 2, I supply them a squirt of flea clinical care on the decrease back of their necks (less than the collar and antagonistic to the exterior, as a way to't lick it) once a month, and no fleas to this point (almost 3 years now). it truly is designed for cats - I used Revolution, yet you are able to also get benefit, obtainable on the vets. we stay contained in the rustic, surrounded with assistance from livestock and sheep so there should be fleas round, yet we've in no way considered any. reliable success! :-)

Yes you can actually. Walking cats gives a strictly indoor cat some outdoor stimulation (because they may be bored indoors). It also allows you to monitor them so that they won't get hurt or killed, which is the dangers that many outdoor cats face.

Make sure that the cat is on a Harness and Leash.
I take my cat Cole for walks in the park behind my house, and he loves it! Lucy and Linus on the other hand......Forget it!
