my children and i feel the the icy chill in the room and hear banging on the cabinets and doors and walls.. it is scary but so far knock on wood not dangerous to us. Could it just be trying to get our attention and needs help???

You don't have to be evil to have an evil spirit in you home. This world ,as well as "the other world" consists of good and evil. The best way to get rid of an evil spirit is to get rid of all negative mementos attached to a negative aspect /person/event in our lives. Second thing, clear all entryways, and windows. Keep a white candle lit in all the rooms. When you wake up, light an incense: lavender, frank, lemongrass. Buy a wind chime,a water fountain, or aquarium to promote tranquility. All these things combined will get rid of the spirit.

The guy has it right on using Jesus's name to get rid of demons, but I warn you that the demons will stay till the source is found. I'm a Christian and demons bother me more then before I started trying to live for Christ. You or one of your family memebers are probably doing something that attracts them. Doesn't have to be spells or demonic stuff. If you do something that is sinful or evil, even if only you, Jesus, and Lucifer know about it, you can get demons. No one has to be evil in your home. The freakest thing I can remember happening to me is being unable to move. Literally straining to so much as twitch. The scarest thing was when I got kicked out of my church. My girlfriend at the time told me that a voice had told her that I would kill her. I don't remember much of what happened. I only remember that I was completely freaked out. I worked everything out. The problem was that I, like most guys have a tendicy to look at lucid women. So much it had become a god to me and I didn't even know it. That alone became fuel for them to drive at me. I managed to sort everything out with Jesus, but I still have trouble with that problem, and I still, if I dwell deep enough, find myself trapped in a matrix of evil. Basically, first, praise God, sing shout dance in his name. Create an atmosphere of worship worthy of his excellece. Second, ask for forgiveness of your sins and weights you carry and lay them at the savior's feet. Third, Ask him for protection, then thank him and praise him some more and the source of the problem, and get rid of it. go through the house praising the Lord and tell the demons that they are to leave in name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Don't miss a room.

Evil spirits don't nessiarily have anything to do with who lives in the vacinity. And it's not nessicarily an evil spirit. The best way to get rid of it wold be to help it move on, sorry i can't really help you with that. There may be a way to banish it or something you'd have to do you r own reasearch though. Sorry i'm no tthat much help.

You may find that the it is only a high EMF that can cause headaches, illusions and nausea.
WOW, some of these answers are unreal...the_rev and ambassador?? They do not come around Christians?? When they brought the possessed girl to Jesus...the spirits just didn't "show up" because he was there, he had to get rid of them.

According to what I beleive in a place that has some evil spirits is a place where God is not mentioned in it alot and I dont mean by that to go to the bathroom and pray ....but I mean you must get connected to God more in Islam people get a "sheikh" to read some Quraan in the room ....or play some Quraan on a cd or something and it goes away ....I hope this will help you

Just kidding, my parents live in a haunted house and the spirit moves things and wraps icy cold air around people, but it's never harmed anyone. Just ignore it unless it does harm to you or your family. Then if it does, run like heck!

Are you a christian family? Jesus says to cast out demons using his name. Say, "I bind all demons in this house and cast them out in Jesus name." Lay your hands on the walls and doors and cabinets and repeat over and over again. Anoint all doors where people can enter your house with oil and pray to God that he protect your home and shed his blood over all who enter or leave and keep them safe. And that no evil enter through. Good Luck.
