Yeppers, november can't get here fast enough...and if the democrats have their hats on straight, they'll be pushing for nailing the damn border shut. TIGHT. Americans are getting robbed, that's all there is to it, the politicians got us coming, and going, it's time for reform, and for people to reclaim their lives, their wallets, their freedoms, and stop letting the hispanic lobby from trying to usurp our national independence. They're actively involved in our government, as you just illustrated, and Mexico needs to stand up, and wipe its' own *** instead of living off the United States Of America. Let's de-globalize a bit, and let the rest of the world take care of itself, for a change. If they can't, well, sucks to be them...

11. Adds a 10 year 'statute of limitations' to give amnesty to illegals coming in in the future if they provide documentation saying they were here for 10 years at any future point. (This to people who have been using false documents all along.)
12. Each of the guest workers in each of the 1.5 million person PER YEAR and 200,000 unskilled person PER YEAR program would, upon obtaining residency or citizenship be able to bring their families as well. This includes indigent parents at a time when we already don't know how we will fund old age requirements for the baby boomers.
The Wall Street Journal just touted a poll saying Americans are beginning to prefer Bush and the Senate's view to immigration reform. However, I've read the questions they asked. Had I not actually read the Senate Bill and had I been asked those questions, I'd have ended up being counted as supporting Bush and the Senate in this. People only approve of the Senate Bill if they don't know what it says.
joanjett187 - have you read the Senate Bill? If not, who is uneducated and closed minded about this?

I wish I had your email.
Not only do we lose our jobs for overseas, now we have millions a year to compete with at home.
Citizenship is dying. The entire world can just come over here and compete now, but we can't go anywhere else! I didn't know they legislated against welfare states so we can provide for anyone else that comes here, and they give the party that got them here votes, until they wise up and start voting for themselves.
I guess I won't be visiting California.
We can't take care of ourselves now. What happens when there are so many more people with no jobs? Raise taxes? Or better yet, allow companies only to hire part-time so they save on benefits and they can hire more workers at less rates.
How do we get our leaders in Washington to reverse the damage? My stepdad who defended our country in WWII is very saddened that we will eventually have to defend it again.
How can you not support civil militias now? I used to laugh at them, but I don't anymore.
We are going to be citizens of no country at all. At 103 million every 20 years, that doubles our country is 60 years. I feel sorry for those of you who worked hard for your kids to get ahead and who's grandchildren will fight this for us.
Was this worth our civil rights? Being the same under the law under the 14th amendment may prove historically to have been the best thing.
I used to be an American. Now I am nobody.
I think we should email to all our leaders, I know I will, to let them know how well they represent the people of America last and everyone else first.

5 million of our older Americans have not signed up yet for their Medicare, Part D, drug plan------because they are old and confused. (Bush's idea and implimentation)
Bush's administration is now NOT going to grant them an extension.
However, 12 million illegal aliens are in our country and we are going to allow them to stay, protest, procreate, receive support monies (welfare), attend schools, avoid paying income taxes, have our teachers take 300 hours of ESL (English as a Second Language) training at our expense, etc. It just seems to me we care more for illegal immigrants than we do our own elderly people and that really bothers me. What has happend to our government? I just don't understand it. Before long they will have a vote I suppose and then they can add all those votes up and not be called "illegal" anymore. Seems to be Bush's goal.
And if someone says one more thing about taking jobs none of us want, well those were jobs our parents did to keep the rest of us here. Everyone needs to vote this administration out, starting this fall.
