Don't wash it every day. Just get in the shower and put conditioner in it...it helps take the excess greese just fine. I wash mine about 2 times a week with a NO sulfide shampoo (favorite is elucence moisture balancing shampoo and conditioner. If you get product build up add some baking soda to the shampoo. Also make sure you have a protective on your hair when you straighten (chi has a great one that smells awesome). Try to let you hair be natural as often as possible. When I don't style (straighten or blow dry) my hair I let it dry naturally and put three drops of olive oil in my hands, rub them together, and carefully glide my hands down my hair, concentrating on the roots (three drops for each side). I'd try this one on the weekends first, it's easy to look greasy.

I use Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine shampoo and conditioner on my dry hair. It really helps. You should use a deep conditioner at least once a week. Look for one at a beauty supply store, I am sure the sales assistant can point you in the right direction.
You can also apply coconut oil to your hair once a week. Pull it through your hair, and leave it on overnight. Shampoo it out in the morning, or leave it on longer if you wish. Coconut oil helps repair damaged hair, and adds shine and moisture. You can find it in a natural food store or online.
You should avoid straightening your hair. It causes damage and can dry your hair out. Even expensive ceramic straighteners damage your hair. You hair may look shiny and great when you straighten it, but you need to do it every day to keep that look up.

I use a leave in conditioner spray. I make sure i don't straighten my hair everyday. I usually give it a break on the weekends. Getting regular trims keeps it healthy. I also use a thick repair conditioner that you leave in for a couple minutes and wash out.

Go to a beauty supply and get a heat protect spray that protects you from a lot of damage. Use it before you straighten it. To get moisture in, get a deep-condtioning treatment. Sally Beauty Supply is a good place to get one. They are different than daily conditioners that you use normally. A deep-conditioner penetrates the cortex, and should be used weekly.

ok, some advice.
dont straighten your hair too much. sure, its not thinning now, but you will get bald when you least expect it. plus, straight limp hair is not very attractive when you have it all the time.
about your q, id sayu some new conditioner would do the trick. also, DO NOT use shampoo EVERY DAY. use it about 3 times a week. shampoo really dries out your hair.

Make sure you use the straightening products when you straighten so it doesnt get as damaged. Products that have silicone in them like Glass. If it already damaged, I would get a deep conditioner like Biolage deep conditioning treatment or go to the salon and have them apply a deep conditioning treatment.
