I don't think women are being unkind in this manner. How about men who tell women... "I'll call ya"... knowing they never will (so don't sit by that phone ladies).
Besides, its not easy for everyone to be so unkind as to just say "look, I'm really not interested in you... would you please stop calling me or talking to me?" Be truthful, would'nt that miff you more than give you a warm and fuzzy feeling of closure?

A woman does that because she doesn't want to hurt a guy's feelings by telling him the real reason she isn't interested in him anymore. She doesn't want to be mean.
Also, a guy kind of brings it on himself. Most men are hint-disabled, so they don't take the hint to go away when a woman stops responding. A woman would like a man to be able to read her body language so she won't have to be directly confrontational.

Because some men can't take "No" for an answer...... I had a former boyfriend continue to call me for years to try to hash over "what went wrong", even after I got married to someone else! I told him last time "Don't ever f...ing call me again in this lifetime." But since you asked, I'll tell you what he did wrong: 1) he called me collect to ask me to marry him. 2) he confessed took another woman out on the same date... same movie, same dinner and then compared our reactions to the movie and so on. Please!

i'm effective the volume is beneficiant, because few adult males do any house responsibilities in the adventure that they could be able to stay away from it. they might extremely "turn blind eyes" on a large number than make higher a touch finger. tremendous comic tale! both numbers do not upload up (sorry.)

It's human nature to avoid potential problems.
They most likely are avoiding you due to not having the courage to just come out & say "I don't want to see you anymore."
