Yes. How many people answering this question live close to the Mexican border?
We can hardly pay for our own healthcare, and they get freebies.

My feelings are mixed. If we send them back to their country they may or may not come back. But if we arrest them and charge them with a felony, our country looks like a dictatorship and it could make the countries that like us and are our allies think differently of the US. They need to enforce the laws that we currently have, and not try to make everybody happy. CONGRESS and the President need to reach an agreement with each other. Or, we could just go in to the country where most of our "ILLEGALS" are coming from and take over the country and make it a territory of the US like Puerto Rico is, and take out that A@@H*&E that is running their country now, and then maybe they would enjoy their lives, and be happier. Because isnt that the real reason most people immigrate to another country is because their lives are so bad in their homelands that they want to make a better life for themselves and their families?

I believe those who are trying their best to be good Americans and are rapidly learning English should be permitted to stay. Those who have no interest in becoming citizens, and have been here for a year or more, but have made no attempt to learn our language and customs should be chased back over the fence without even a good bye.

I have mixed feelings about it.
If they are criminals and bad people selling drugs and stuff then yes. Like if they have gotten in trouble while in the US
But if they are here and have already had a child nope let them stay.
There's good and bad about everything.
I wouldn't have the heart too do it.....

Yes - they're criminals (hence the term 'illegal immigrants') we can produce enough of those here. There are plenty of perfectly legal ways to emigrate to this country, if they truly want to be here, they'll find one.

Would you rather pay their taxes, let them get jobs where they are paid off the books so that their employers don't have to report them and they are exploited; or would you rather let them use our medical system for free and let the citizens go without aid.

Yes, it may take awhile, but it took awhile for them to get here too. We need to keep/start enforcing our laws long after the controversy has passed.
