My father's middle name is Avery. I think it's a classic name, but one that's fairly unique.

My dad's name is Jens Neils (prounced Yence Neels) which is Danish for James Nelson. If you're looking for an unusual name, I have a grandson named Bastian Brighton. My daughter said Bastian is the name of the little boy in THE NEVER ENDING STORY and Brighton just sounded right with it. I bet you're wrinkling your nose up right now but I promise it grows on you. And he's a little cutie to be sure.

Well my dads middle name is James. My hubby is Dale and my son is David. I just kept puting names with the first name we picked out and i just thought David went well with Cameron. It really means nothing other than i thought it went good together.

Since my son has his father's last name, I gave him my maiden name for his middle name. Not all last names are suitable for this but it is a common practice.

I don't think you'd care for my dad's. His mother was Betty Jo and she hated everyone calling her Jo. She wanted to name my dad Joe but her husband wanted his middle name. So my dad is Milton Joe and for obvious reasons, goes by Joe
My son's middle name is Lee (it's a tradition in my husband's family)
