Well, some folks will try to tell you that it's a tiny little cheese flavored cracker that goes well with apples or is great all by itself as a snack, but that's not right. A cheese nip is when you get blindsided by a cheese and it gets you in the ankle... other wise they'd have to call them cheese bites. So be very, very careful where ever you go, and don't take your eyes off your ankles! You wouldn't want to get nipped by cheese more than once in your lifetime, or people will laugh at you.
