It does help you lose weight because first of all if you drink water it has zero calories compared to other drinks that have anywhere up to about 150 in soft drinks. Though if you drink a lot of water before the meal you will get full more quickly because the water is taking up so much room within your stomach.

The word you want is spelled L-O-S-E.
Drinking lots of water DOES NOT make you lose weight. That's a common myth. (Look at all the folks that believe it!!) The ONLY thing that matters is if you burn off more than you take in. Water does NOT fill you up - it passes through your stomach so quickly that it doesn't help.
Bottom line - Exercise more, eat less. Period.

I am not sure about that but it does makes your skin clearer. It makes you healthier over all.
Actually drinking water right before or after a meal makes you gain weight. No kidding. It's a fact.
Some tips to lose weight:
