Here is a fact few realize.....
Sure we use alot of gas. But did you know that from the oil we get from the ground we also get acetone, lacquer, paint thinner, kerosene, jet fuel, etc etc?
Did you also know that every plastic you touch, from your computer, to your tv, car, gameboy, etc is made from oil?
We use more oil for plastics than we use for gasoline. The way to lower the need for oil is to get off this "throw away society" we live in today. 30 yrs ago items were made to last and if broke we fixed them. Today due to plastics we just toss them when broken, in turn using more and more plastic aka oil.
Gas is but just a slice of the full pie of the big problem.

There are several electric operated airplanes, but they couldn't go very far. The extension cords were too short.
No, I don't agree with you. It's called supply and demand. Most commercial flights use jet fuel, not gasoline.

That would be true but jet fuel is alot different then fuel for your car..

no, gas would be cheeper if bush was thrown out, it does not matter what runs on gas, bush is the only reason gas is so high priced

Auto gas would be MORE EXPENSIVE ! because all those folks that couldn't fly would be driving.
