well i lost my computer sound. i have a wimdows xp home edition. well i know to find the sound hardware in the system but not able to find what is my driver. so how can i know the driver and it is possible to download it from miscrosoft? thank you very ,much for your help

Yeah you can get the drivers from microsoft.com

You can use the CD's that may have come with your computer to get the drivers too

This is how you find your driver.

Right click on my computer.
Go to properties
in the system properties window, click on the hardware tab
on hardware tab click on Device Manager
In the Device Manager Window select Sound, Video and Game controlers.
Double Click on your sound card.
In the Sound card window that opens click on Driver tab.

HM if urs Intel go to Intel.com and search or ur motherboard in Support and download u will find it there

You might have to get the driver from the people who made the sound card.........
