Has anyone done this who can shed some light on it? I understand there are bolts already there that the hitch installs to. Where can I find these?

Most foreign vehicles have "weldnut" incorporated into the chassis. These weldnuts are just what they seem to be. They are simply nuts welded to the inside of the frame. Most hitch manufacturers use these weldnuts to attach the hitch to the vehicle. It saves the installer from having to drill into the frame. If you look under the vehicle they will be running perpendicular with the frame of the car.

BTW, you CAN tow with a front wheel drive vehicle.

be careful of what you intend to tow. front wheel drive cars are NOT designed to tow anything. The transmissions do not have the strength to tow anything beyond 500 pounds. I know people have probably towed 7500 pounds and have had no problems, but what they don't realize is the extreme stress put on the tranny.
If you're going to tow something heavy, look into an auxillary tranny cooler.
