If you are Indian, studying in UK is likely to be expensive. I doubt that the education is any better in UK than in India (given the level of the Indian engineers I used to meet in previous jobs) with the possible section of a very small number of centres of excellence, such as Cambridge for physics, Edinburgh for Artificial Intelligence. But then I don't know the hot unis in India for these subjects.

However, if you're thinking of applying for a job in the UK, best to have a UK degree rather than an Indian one. Apart from the general snootyness that you'll still find in UK, employers here like their recruits to come from somewhere they feel they know something about.

That aside, if your degree comes from one country and you come from another, that marks you out immediately as an international player - could be quite a strength in recruitment, regardless of the countries involved.

Well seen as you don't seem to know that the UK and Britain are the same, then I'm guessing you're not from Britain and so I'll say India, because there are too many immigrants coming to Britain.

i heard from one of my school counselors who is british that british universities don't charge as much for books and tuition. otherwise i doubt that what you learn there could be much different than any other university.
