I mean, where's the class? Where are the plosive constonants? Isn't it just a bit icky as well? Aren't there more effective and less skin-crawly swear words out there to choose from?

It was ALWAYS a swear word. It is just shortening words to try to hide it. It is Mo-Fu anyway. Yeah pronounced as Mo Fo but that is another story.

It would be funny if Fo is a surname and Mr and Mrs Fo have a baby called Mo :P
