Hazing is not allowed in the military. If you are the subject of hazing, report it. As for the rest of military life, you will have to learn to adjust...it may take some time, but remember that you are doing your job for your country and your future. Make the best of it!

Relax!!!

Most raw recruits are always over-complicating everything. I know..I was once a DI at Ft. Polk.in the 70s. Get to know your strengths and weaknesses..and improve yourself every day..its too easy to get into that.."The Army will tell me what to do today" mode of thought..dont be a sucker...if someone offers you the ability to test for Ranger school..take it..and do the best you can.

apply for OCS as many times as possible..Be..all you can be

after all..its YOUR life!!! Carpe' Deium!!!

As stated earlier - Hazing is contrary to good order and discipline and is punishable under the UCMJ. You have a responsibility to report it. Further - Your CO has a responsibility to ensure that no reprisal is taken against you for reporting it. Use your chain of command and report it.

It will grow on you eventually and become your "normal". Problem is once you get used to it, especially if you go to Iraq, etc., it will be harder to fit back into the American life. A lot of soldiers go through this. Most soldiers who went to Iraq also come back with Postpartum stress disorder( however they spell it).
Anyway, Good luck.

eventually you won't e the new guy any more, and it will stop. Apply for SF school or something. Or apply for airborne school. You probably won't go, but if you do, you'll have that on most the people at your air assault unit.
