Ginger Ale. Real Ginger Ale, like Hansens. Schwepps and most of the other brands don't actually contain ginger - the ingredient that you need.

I have just gotten over the stomach flu myself. To the person who recommended you go to the doctor, as a medical provider myself, know that the stomach flu cannot be properly treated with antibiotics. Unfortunately, it is just something you have to ride out. If you are nauseated the doctor can prescribe you an antinausea med like Phenergan, otherwise, try taking Mylanta to cool your stomach and something like Prilosec or Zantac can also help "calm" it.

Antibiotics, if you took any, kill the good bacteria as well as the bad bacteria. If your stomach is not functioning properly, it will cause cramps. The best way to restore the good bacteria is to eat yogurt. Also, mint tea will sooth the stomach and help to eliminate gas. If nothing else works, see a doctor.
