Of course they do, you can learn more about a person by what happened good and bad in a previous relationship and it can help your relationship grow positively.

No. As long as there are no diseases, it should not matter if they really care about you or you them. That's why it's called the past. It's the present and future that matter. I don't care who my husband has been with in the past and he doesn't care about who I was with. We each have kids from the past and it still doesn't matter. Although we both think that each other could have made some better choices in people. lol

In a way it's common to ask questions but not dwell on those past it's better to stay in the present and talk about your likes and dislikes,what you have in common,etc.Everyone needs to know something of the past and what happened to help get to know this new person.

I don't think that they should matter b/c your w/ that person now and the past is the past not the future...but if your really good friends w/ your ex's still then maybe you should tell ur gf/bf

only if u and ur ex r still friends it mite get in the way of ur new relationship, but i think when u break up with sum1 u break up with em in everything including friendship, past relationships r in the past and that's where they belong

well probably not, but if they are curious you should try to open up to your partner because they may want to know some things that their getting themself into...
