You've got a peculiar idea about Catholics - for starters, Catholics rarely do "sermons." Priests preach homilies - in other words, they talk about the scriptures that were read.
What we do have the same - all over the world - is the same liturgy. That is the same bible readings are read, and the same prayers are recited. We have a three year cycle - Year A, Year B, Year C. In each year there are a couple of dozen weeks of what is called "ordinary time", and there are other weeks that are thematic - Easter, Christmas, Lent, Advent. In a sense the Vatican isn't "in control" by this any more than anyone is - priests of the Pope's diocese and the Pope himself have to follow the church's standard liturgical year, just like everyone else.
Liturgy is about exalting the word of God, and not exalting the word of the pastor. Evangelical pastors ramble from biblical passage to passage, talking about what they want to talk about. Creflo Dollar can quote scripture - but he does so in a way that exalts himself, not Jesus.
Liturgy ensures priests and bishops preach about Easter at Easter, Christmas at Christmas, etc. Lutherans and Episcopalians use pretty much the same lectionary (the same schedule of bible readings, if you will) as the Catholics. That way the major churches of the western world stay in synch.

The Vatican doesn't give the same sermon every day.
The Church is set up that if you go to Mass every day, in three years you will hear every word of the Bible with the exception of the book of Job.
One of the strengths of the Church is that no matter where you are, everyone will hear the same readings - so if I am traveling (which I often do) I can stop into any Catholic Church and hear the same basic message that my family are hearing at home.
There is no fear of losing control, when you have THE Truth, there is nothing to fear.

Yes and no.
They give the same sermon everyday because they lost all their story rights a few centuries ago. You know, when the Bible finally was stopped being edited.

They don't... I have been to several Masses in one day and the sermons/homilies are always different.
If you are referring to scripture readings; all churches have the same ones for daily and Sunday Mass so that any Catholic who goes to Sunday Mass every week will hear the whole Bible in three years (if he goes every day, he'll get the whole thing in two!)
Pretty cool, huh?

The Vatican is not Catholic (many of them are Freemasons and Communists). They are in heresy and deliberately push all this humanistic mumbo jumbo out the door in order to try to get people to lose their faith. It's working, isn't it?

Each priest is free to choose the topic he speaks on. It should ideally be taken from one of the readings that day but each priest is free to choose. I have attended mass two times on a weekend with two different priests and have heard two completely different sermons on two completely different topics.
