Voting for president is not as important as people put it. Voting for local government is most important. A soild example is this the congress. Congress is the real power in the nation. Without congress Bush would not be able to do half of the things he does. With clinton when he lost the congress, it pulled the nation further right.

Not really. People actually vote for things like American Idol etc, more because you can do it in the comfort of your home. Plus there are no age restrictions, legal, or papers to fill out to vote on things like this. Plus you can vote wold wide and no one cares if your a citizen or not. To vote for president, you actually have to know something about politics and whats going on in the world. And some people view it as a job that your not getting paid for, someone else's business, or they just don't have time.

Pathetic huh. I cant force people to vote for president or even care. Its just reality.

Well, at least in here you don't get chads and votes are counted by computer so you can't miscount, thereby voting the wrong question to be in power over all the other questions.

voting in local elections is more important than in presidential elections. 1 vote out of 500 is more potent than 1 out of 100 million. always vote or keep quiet about problems

extra significant to vote for President. President runs the rustic; American Idol makes idiots of themselves. those those who say it truly is extra significant to vote AI rather of the President persist with American Idol like that's a faith. yet that statistic also says that 7 out of 10 individuals imagine it truly is extra significant to vote for the President.

They are equal because either way you are voting for some one that will represent the people and you want some one that will promote your best interests and promote the common welfare, whether its in DC or in anyother state.
