My aunt/guardian used my information to get a credit card and never paid it off ,over a year. She didnt tell me or anything then when my cell is on after a couple months I get all these calls everyday people telling me i have past due payments.
Now Im thinking about filing the report on her or asking if she will pay the payments. I left a message telling her i was filling a report and she called me back threatning me that sh's gonna woop my *** and crazy things like that. By the way she's always been bogus to me since i moved in with her and her bunch of bebe kids when i was a kid after my mom died so I never new how to handle this abuse I was always trying to be good cause i wanted her to be nice to me but obviously it never worked and i never had a mother daugter like relationship I've always felt outkast in her family but now i moved out and feels like this torture is never going to end so what do u think?

Since you don't have a good relationship with your aunt anyway, you've got nothing to lose if you prosecute her. What she had done to you is beyond unkind, she has broken the law. She has committed identity theft against you. She has stolen from you.

First you need to file a police report. Then you send copies of those documents to the credit bureaus and the creditors involved. It is going to be hard, but while she is sitting in jail you can get started cleaning up your credit.

I am so sorry that she has taken away the opportunity for you to have her as a mentor and a confidant. The future will be bright for you if you let it.

Good luck with clearing up this mess your aunt has made.

1st: You are not responsible for any credit that you did not sign for. Fill out a fraud report because that is what she committed fraud. If she wants to kick your butt that is her problem and so will the credit card company. 2nd move on she took on a difficult situation and sounds like she did not make the best of it but give her a break most people would not have taken you in at all.

Call the state attorney's office.
She can get into trouble for fradulent use of a credit card. They can investigate & decide if they want to press charges.

I don't think you should feel bad about filing the report or moving out or anything because what more can you give than your best?If you hadn't tried it would be another story, but you did so don't blame yourself!

I think I would contact an attorney. You need a good name and good credit for your future.
Good luck to you.

ask a lawyer to handle the bills that are in your name ,that your aunt incurred when you were under 18 years old.
she is responsible for any bills, that are in your name when you
were under her care..get a lawyer and take her to court..
it`s sad that she did this to you..
