i want to become licensed to sell auto insurance i live in riverside county and need the traing but not online

I can put you in touch with an associate ... if you wish . I work for Primerica. We are a Citigroup company, and we have offices in California as well as Texas and several other states. I took a 2 day course thru Primerica and passed my test soon after.

Contact the local branch of Independent Insurance Agents of America - www.iiaa.org - they put on a three day pre-test cram course, after you've done a self study.

I don't believe the college degree will affect your chances, unfortunately. Yes the on line classes will cover you but if you don't have any real estate experience you would probably want to actually sit in the class for the 60 or so hours.

I agree with Lori - ADBanker is great. They even help arrange the state exam.
