Understand a special child? Mental problems correct? Those type of children are unique and need a lot of attention. Just listen like you actually want to know. Listen with your heart.

What do you mean by a speacial child everyone is special in there own special ways. If you mean a mental problem they are the same as people so treat them the same as anyone else!

what is the special needs of the child...look up the disability on the net...and make sure to join the local support groups for that child's needs..you will get ideas and advice, as well as educating your self on what you have control over and don't when it comes to the child's illness.

My child is special. She is 24 years old, legally blind, can`t walk, can`t feed herself and can talk very little but we know ALL her needs by the way she acts. Just pay attention and learn---which you will. The more you love them, the more you can understand them and thanks for the question!! for we love her very much and would not change a thing.

well what do you mean... retardation? theres many different ways of being special...my daugter is ADHD and cant sit still for more than 5 minutes nor remember what i told her 30 seconds ago. But the more i learned about her condition the better i can understand whats going through her head, and the more patient ive become.

it depends on how special the child is !!
but yes.. handling child is full fun, u can see various gestures & u need to become child to understand & play with them..
