That's okay. Girls often start their period by your age, but it's not uncommon for them to start later in life. Your body probably just isn't quite ready to do that yet. Relax and give it a bit of time. Chances are it will get around to it soon enough... but if you are really worried, ask your parents to take you to the doctor so you can talk about it and see if you're okay. =)

Don't worry about it. I was 16 when mine started (at the moment I am having really bad cramps). My older and younger sister started when they were 14 and my mom started at 15.

If you are anorexic or have emotional or other eating problems, that might cause you to start later. When you are underweight, your body focuses more on keeping you going than to regulate a menstrual cycle. Also, it might be that your body just hasn't developed enough to carry and have a baby. After you start your period you can become pregnant, and your body might not be capable of that.

Don't worry too much about it. They say that once you turn 17, you should talk to your doctor about it. If you are really worried about it, ask your doctor for a stimulating pill. I don't know what it's called, but it makes you have a menstrual cycle.

Don´t worry the age at which the first period comes (menarchy) may vary among women
there are sevral things that your body must do before it gets it first period
1 achieving a critical minimum weight
2 getting ready a whole set of hormones
3 getting ready your ovaries and your uterus for fertility

once it has been achieved the body will start working to become fertile.

In these days menarchy is coming earlier than before but at your age is perfectly normal if it bhasn't come yet so right now there is nothing to worry about. but if you still feel insecure you should visit your doctor and he can evaluate that everything is going as expected.

Usually this is nothing to worry about. Everybody is different and some start earlier, some start later.

If, however, you are anorexic, that could delay it. Also, if you are highly athletic with a low body-fat percentage, I think it is 16% or less, then that could affect it also.

If either of those two conditions apply to you then consult your doctor, otherwise just give it more time -- like until you are around 18.

Don't worry, that is perfectly normal. A lot of females start their periods at that age and some, such as myself, even younger. Ask your mom to stop by your local women's clinic and pick you up some brochures on menstration that will probably help answer a lot of your questions. It's perfectly natural, don't worry!

That's normal, I didn't start mine until I was fourteen or fifteen. I think the average age is around fourteen. No need to stress, it'll come when it's ready. You should be happy you haven't gotten it yet :P
