I get this " 42,500" killed in the USA last year ( Auto Accidents ) and we only lost 2,500 men in Iraq in the past 3 years. ( I know...I know...Women killed too ) But think about this....42,500 out of 290 million people. .....In Iraq we lost 2,500 out of 138,000 men and women. Do your math. The truth is....The American Troops are getting ready to eat Crow.......They are getting ready to walk the "Walk of Shame"....All Iraqi American Veterans will soon walk like they are constipated. What a horrible thing to do to out men and women. The USA will go down in defeat. Shame is on it's way.

That's babbling nonsense. You're trying to make mathmatical proportions out of unrelated concepts. What do automobile accidents have to do with Iraq? This is a logical fallacy, and a weak attempt to spike anger. Why would you want people to flame you like that?

Golly gee! The fact that they are in a war zone might just have a bearing on percentages! Are you one of those who has been gleefully ticking off the numbers until we hit the magic 50, 100, 1500, ...? Contrary to what you hear from the major media, we're not doing too badly. Also, they Will only walk the "Walk of Shame," if they are treated like dirt by their fellow Americans. If they receive decent treatment, they will have nothing of which to be ashamed. Remember, they are volunteers, and soldiers don't have a lot of say over where they are sent. Their cause, like Vietnam, is noble. History will judge if it was worth it.

There are people out there, like my sister for example, that absolutely have no interest with what goes on outside her "world" of family, Church, and work. If it doesn't effect her she doesn't want to be bothered.
When 9/11 hit she didn't even know! There was an attempted abduction of a young grade school student at my sisters daughters school, and she didn't even know until I called her!
She is so involved within her "fantasy world-everybody safe and happy world" that she doesn't read the paper or watch the news that she plain told me that she doesn't care!
How poeple can be like this I have no clue?
And yes, I agree, we ARE facing another Vietnam in Iraq! How is the President going to get out of this one?
Isn't that insane? But I believe there are more folks out there that we actually want to fess up to that don't give a *&^%$ *&^%$!

A statement fom a position of predjudice against the U.S military who you clearly have a grudge against.
Notice the profile has changed and you were now in the navy as well as being a dog handler in the air force and something in Nam!!

The number was 17,000 and the shame belongs to people who rejoice in ANY kind of failure as long as it belongs to an American. Your hatred of the CINC fuels your tirades and I consider it very unfortunate for you that you wish more bad news but only as it can be made to show anything but our successes, we musn't have any of that. Americans have been successful here even if you don't wish to see it.
Why don't you join us here.... maybe you could come with one of those peace groups (that request military help in town) and make a difference promoting peace in your own way. Come on in and show us how its done, rebuilding a govt and creating a rule of law. Perhaps you have a few ideas for amendments to their constitution.

WHY DO PEOPLE ATTACK THE TROOPS???? The soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines who risk their lives over there are at the directive of the President and his administration. you know im not sure!sometimes the government don't want us to panic and so they don't tell us anything.there are NO nuclear weapons in iraq!we found that out a long time ago.but you see,we americans love our pride,like the pearl harbor.but in my opinion bush just wants to show off.its either that or hes just really stupid enough to kill our troops.
