As a child the chandelier used to swing from side to side, and the radio would turn on by itself in the middle of the night.

One time on a camping trip I was walking back from the bathrooms at that moment right between day and night and I saw someone walk across the front of the site and stop behind a tree. So I figure one of the people is going to jump out and try to surprise me, so I pull out my flashlight, walk up to the tree, turn on the light, and there's no one there.

One time I was alone in a house, and I felt a presence. I looked at a mobile hanging motionless, and said, "If there is anyone else here, make the mobile spin." The next moment, the mobile began to spin.

One time I was driving into Ponca State Park to set up a large camping gathering, and the sides of the road were lined with spirits. All standing there, clearly visible to everyone, calmly welcoming us back.

On another camping trip, we felt a spirit near the bon-fire. We had a ring of 40 tiki-torches around the bonfire. It was a still and windless night, but all the tiki flames near the spirit bent in. One of the people in the circle had a fancy camera. After the campout she went to get the film developed, and all the photos from before the visitor turned out, but after that all the film was blank. She took the camera in to be repaired. The repairman asked if she'd been in a nuclear power plant. All the innards were fried from electromagnetism

My grandmother died while my niece was in utero. After my niece was born, she would look up at areas where no one was standing, and laugh and giggle. We all knew that she was looking at gramma, so we never showed her any pictures. Finally, at about a year old, she could speak, and my sister showed her the family photo album. My niece picked out her photo and said, "That's Old Gramma."

Had a ghost that wanted to share my apartment when I was younger. Opened cabinet doors, moved dishes around, even got grumpy with me and twisted a spoon all to hell and back, there was no saving that silver after that. Left it a little note and said basically this couldn't happen anymore and it stopped. No clue.

Now I work in a theater and have had some odd experiences, not scary mind ya', all the ghosts in the theater seem concerned to make sure the show goes on, go figure.

Lady in White-an elder black lady that likes to sit in the upper (used to be segregated seating)
Bowler Hat Man-carries an air of mangement and stands at the back of the house watching
Military Man-WWI service vetran in full regallia who wonders about only during shows
Whistler-a voice only ghost that whistles in the darkness when you're alone in the building, he's the coolest one. (The past of this theater used to employ sailors who whistled codes up to the ropeliners to pull the correct lines for scene changes, I think Whistler remembers a lot more than he lets onto)

BOOK: The National Directory of Haunted Places.

They got at least one thing in every state. I never got around to going to any of the places and have no experience.

When I was at my mom's house last Christmas, I had one, I guess. I was about to go into my room. The door was closed. When I was about to open it, I heard my TV on inside. I thought that was weird, so I opened my door. It was dark inside and my TV was off. While still standing on the threshold, I turned on the light. Then I heard footsteps in front of my window, directly across from me. I didn't say anything. I just backed out, turned out the light, and shut the door.

yes, seriously, there have been many occasions where i have seen such things as ghosts and have even seen with my own eyes windows opening by them selves lights turning them selves on and even orbs, but i don't fear any of it because i truly believe that there is more to fear from the living, and besides i know that im protected from such as those things both from God and my guardian angels i have more than one by the way so i don't fear the others.

Only as a child. I used to imagine many things.
Thankfully I grew up.
No such occurances or entities exist in the real world. Only in the world of movies and imagination.

I so totally do not understand exactly what you said. you scare ghosts??

If you are referring to paranoramal experiences or experiences above the norm, yes, I have. Do I wish to share them right now, no. I've gotta get to my last class.
