So I have this online guy that I have been chatting with for a while, and he calls me sugar and baby and all that flirty stuff....but nothing has ever happened...I mean like, we've never talked about meeting or anything...no phone sex...no mentioning of sex at all....but I have an actual boyfriend whom I love very much that I've been seeing for about 2 months now...and lately this whole online thing has been getting me worried that I'm doing something wrong...like cheating...Am I??? Should I be worried? Should I ditch the online guy??? Help Me!!!!

Well, what is your definition of cheating? For me, cheating is something you do or did that you are afraid to tell your partner because you know or think that it will hurt her or him. In this case, would you be comfortable to tell your boyfriend about the guy online? If not, then thats cheating. Besides, why are you spending time with guys online when you could use that time to spend with someone you love?

It's not cheating. But still your getting into that stage where it will first be the little flirts and then more and more. Don't let this online conversations ruin an actual relationship. Be smart!

When it comes to the physical he must be taller than me and clean. Personality: I must feel his humor. If a guy can make me laugh, he'll get my time. I find a great sense of humor attractive. He must have a good relationship with his family. I want him to be generous and able to take care of me (and future kids) like a real man should. He must be ambitious (self-made man). And obviously honest and respectful. Not a big l list.

if your worrying about it perhaps things are going too far with this online guy.
does your boyfriend know about him... because if he doesn't then your hiding him for a reason.........
generally if your uncomfortable with something you shouldn't be doing that thing thats making you uncomfortable...
honestly if hes just reffering to you as sugar and stuff then thats fine in my opinion however if hes commin on to you and your like having cyber sex or something then you are *cheating

If it is as innocent as you stated, what you have is more of a pen pal, than any relationship. going on.
If it does bother you, then best to give it up, ask your boyfriend, if it bothers him, and if it does, then it's time to let go.
