Take it easy, do some (just a little) exercise and cut down on fatty foods like chips and sweets (its amazing how much of those the average person eats) Most of us don't eat too much, we eat the wrong things.
And don't worry, 14 is a difficult age, thats not who you will be in 2 years or in 10.

At your height and weight, you are heavier than average, but still at a healthy weight. If you are a “cheerchick”, you may already be doing some real exercise, every day. Pinch the skin on your waistline, near your belly button or sides (the ‘love handles’). Can you grab skin more than 3/4 inch? That is a measure of whether you really have excess fat, or whether your weight is muscle.
If you’re not exercising regularly, or if you’re not eating as well as you should, then that extra weight could be showing up as a fat tummy and thunder thighs. In that case, there are two ways to give yourself a healthier body.
Work up to exercising 4-5 times a week, for 30 minutes. Walking, biking, swimming are all great, and cheap! If you aren’t active to start out, then that will start building some muscle, which helps burn calories 24 hours a day.
Keep a food diary. When you start, don't worry about counting fat or calories, just notice how much and what you are eating. Start learning what foods are good and bad.
Just seeing it written down can be a surprise - you don't always notice how much you really eat when you eat it, but you sure notice when your stomach sticks out over your jeans. Watching what you eat helps you stay focused and eat healthier. If you are gaining weight or not seeing results after a month, start adding up every calorie, to find the best way for you to cut back your eating.

The problem you have is not your weight because that is fine it's the way you see and think of yourself that is the problem.
To lose weight and tone up is easy but it takes time and a lot of hard work.
You need to
* Eat 3 meals a day, every day.
No fried food
Lots of fruit & veg
No cakes, candy, chips
* Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day,
specially one glass 20 mins before each meal
* Try to get more exercise like taking the stairs
not the escalator & get off the bus a stop early
* Exercise like squats, jumping jacks, running on
the spot, swimming are all good, you can
probably buy loads of exercise videos at local
house sales or flea markets.
You must eat well and exercise sensibly to lose weight and keep it off. The popular teenage
tricks of vomiting or starving yourself will not keep the weight off & you will end up putting even more weight back on.
Aim to lose a pound or two a week at the most and you will find it easier to keep it off.
You should seriously think about some sort of counselling to help you deal with the low opinion you have of yourself. Being skinny will not be the answer to your dreams & most blokes prefer women with a few curves to a stick insect.

I am the same way!! I am about 5'8" and everyone says im tall and thin. Anyway, this is what I am doing. I take my MP3 player and go walking for about an hour around the city. Go to places you already know to elimnante creepyness. I just started about a week ago and I am already feeling a four-pack on my stomach! lol. it also helps witht the legs. Running is a good thing to do too. Plus, both are great because it gives you a chance to get out of the house and away from siblings...
To be honest thought, you are average if not, small for being fourteen. But if you want to get in shape, its easy to find a workout for you. You will also be able to eat what you want. as long as you go walkin daily. DDR is also good. So is horseback riding. If you want more fittness advice, email me at chloie778@yahoo.com

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

I think you sound healthy and trim already.
I can understand though, that you aren't asking for consolation, but an answer so here's a healthy one:
If you start out with cutting sugar from your diet you will definitely notice a difference. The first couple days will be TOTAL HELL, but after that, you won't miss sweets at all. After a week, you will fit better into your clothes. Trust me, when I watch my sugar intake for a week, people always seem to notice that I've dropped some weight. But again, I have to stress--the first couple days will be hell !!!

Don't eat and watch TV. Watch what you eat. Eat plenty of veggies and fruit. Keep junk food to a bare minimum. Drink plenty of water. Get at least 30-45 minutes of exercise every other day. Make sure it's something to get the heart pumping. A brisk walk, aerobics, stairmaster, bike ride. Make up your own routine with crunches, leg lifts, arm lifts, lunges, etc. Do reps of at least 10 on each side before you move to the next.

i have the same body type as you do. i'm also trying to lose that over the summer. don't think that just because you are going into high school means that they will make fun or anything.
i was a freshman last year and worried about the same thing, but no one thought of me differently just because i'm not a petite girl. they took me for who i was and once you start school next fall, you'll realize that you don't really need to worry about people's comments. you should just be happy the way you are.
but if you can lose it all the more power to you. just keep your chin up. keep a good attitude and everything will go just fine.
