Yes parents are way too easy on their children because:
1) they are afraid to HURT their EGOS
2) they would rather DRUG them with the many kiddie drugs than disipline them
3) partents are too stressed out, over extended, over worked, over everything to think about their children
4) the interest only loans will make partents care even LESS about their kids as the rates sky rocket
5) self absorbed ALL ABOUT ME parents from the generation of overinduldged will ruin their kids

I don't think there are easy it's just that parental discipline has been taken away from parents of today. In today's society it is illegal to "spank" or discipline your child, so children of "GEN X and GEN NEXT" will feed our prison systems for years to come.
But in earlier years before CPS, a parent had the parental right to "Whoop some A**" if their child got out of line, and not only parents ANY adult in authority such as a school guidance counselor or principle or even truant officer(do they even have those anymore LOL) could deliver the punishment. And with so much technology abound, there is no telling what a misdirected youth might do.

Yes...parents are way too easy on their kids. I was raised by supportive parents that taught me right from wrong, manners, and a lot of other attributes that parents are not teaching their kids today. I think there is nothing wrong with disciplining children. The fear of punishment and consequences is important.

Very easy on them... When I was little, my parents was very strict and punished me for just a simple thing. Now day, those children are very rotten spoiled. I have a friend who parents have different method of discipline and that kid turn out worse and I can't believe that. Yep, they are very easy on those children.

yes, just look at all the kids and teens that are doing *** and other things aganst the law. if the parents would teach them, and punsh them when they do wrong they would learn that some things are just not to be done. but because so many people thing that any punshment is wrong we have full prisons because they have to be punshed as adults.

diverse oldsters "presently" for one do not have a lot of a decision diverse the cloths is all made an similar. bypass look at walmart or target sometime its problematical to locate a pair of shorts that are not short of a pair of pants that are not tight for a lady. Boys have an determination of loose or established jeans and standard length shorts. we are no longer given a lot determination on training or discipline if we do some thing incorrect our youthful ones will be taken. You had your probability at raising "your" boys now enable your boys and their better halves have the prospect to strengthen "their" little ones no longer yours theirs. all of us has distinct strategies to discipline and for my area spanking should be the most suitable determination.

yes and that is why the crime rate is up among young people. Too many parents aren't "there" for their kids anymore. Too many working parents and parents that just don't care!
