In the US you need to first either attend travel school or work for a period of time for an authorized travel agency. In the travel business there is an agency (ARC = Airline Resettlement Commission) which controls all of the distribution of travel funds and you must be a member in order to participate. You gain that participation by schooling and work in the business. Then you need to join a travel association, like ASTA or ClIA, which show you are a professional travel person.
You should look into attending a travel school like maybe Carlson Travel. There are several others that are nationwide(see web site below). I attended Carlson and they offer full time and part-time classes. Once you finish the school, they will help you with placement, finding a job. You really need to work in the business under an agency for a while to learn how things are done. Once you finish schooling and or your apprenticeship, you are assigned a CLIA or ASTA number. That number is your ticket to getting paid.

Take a look at this one: www.joinavc.com. Also, I have been with The Travel Stop for years (www.thetravelstop.net). Please avoid Joystar right now, they are having difficulties. Nexion may be another possibility. Just know that if you are just starting out, you really do need support and information/training. The big host agencies like Nexion are really not able to do that - they have too many agents.

Having a "ticket" on airlines can be a little confusing, as most people expect a ticket to be somethng physical like you get at a theare or amusement park. It gets a little easier if you think of the ticket as the ID number for the airline you are flying on. Its actually better to use the Confirmation number (which is 6 letters/numbers long) - an airline can (and actually prefers) using that as it is shorter and easier to use. Most airlines allow you print up your boarding pass at home on your printer, though sometimes this cant be done. If not you can get it from a kiosk at the airport or by just going to the counter and getting it there. If you are checking luggage at the counter you might as well do it this way. The boarding pass will only be for that "direction" of travel - as you have a connecting flight on the same airline, there will be two boarding passes given to you, one for each flight on the "outbound" section of your trip. When you return, you will do the same thing. Everything should be under the same confirmation number and ticket number.

I think what your looking for is not an online inhome travel agency, so much as a crackling cold beer while lounging under a palm tree in breezy and nippy brazil.
Good luck with that

THIS IS A TERRIBLE PLACE TO ASK THAT QUESTION. YOU WILL ONLY BE SCAMMED LIKE THE PREVIOUS ANSWER. MANY PEOPLE WANT MONEY FROM YOU.
RUN....DO NOT WALK...RUN TO YOUR LOCAL TRAVEL AGENCY AND TALK TO THEM ABOUT IT.
