If you want to be abstinent then go for it, if you dont then thats fine but you should know all the risks. Who are we to judge each other, what you do behind closed doors with an adult is your business. Only people who should know about your sex life are the ones in it and nobody else.

Well, I lived more of the free love side, but I regret some of my actions and see the reasoning behind abstinence and think it is a better idea.

Abstinence - any day. That is what separates us from animals and make us human beings. Free love is the concept of going back in evolution.

I believe that abstinence is right for some people. Free love is ok if the participating adults are taking responsibility for their actions.

Absolutely. The problem is that even when people have "safe" sex, it's not safe, it's really like playing russian roulette with your life:

Venereal diseases frequently spread through “skin to skin” contact even when condoms are used. This can happen because the bacterial or viral germs that cause many serious STDs (such as human papilloma virus, chlamydia, herpes and syphilis) do not infect just one place on your body. They may infect anywhere in the male or female genital areas. So even if the virus or bacteria doesn’t get through the condom itself, you can still get a disease, because condoms don’t cover all areas necessary to prevent infection during sexual contact.

Latex condoms have tiny intrinsic holes called “voids.” The AIDS virus is 50 times smaller than these tiny holes which makes it easy for the virus to pass through them, about as easy as a dime passing through a basketball hoop.

I take both sides depending on the type of relationship.
If the relationship is that of spiritual and deep.. beyond lust then yeah abstinence( but sex is OK when required.. we are human beings after all)
If there is just body relationship then free love is OK but both partners should realize it and not be attached.

Hey, when I found out I was positive for breast cancer last yr, I totally gave my life to God. I am not a virgin but I decided to wait now. I am in remission (a yr 6/16) and I thank God. It is hard but you know God gives u strength to live without sex (at least until u are married) then wild out..lol...But for real though, Wait..I found a man who loves me and is willing to wait until we get married. Nope!! never had sex. He respects me and told me that even if I do give in he won't do it out of respect for me. Isn't that wonderful?? Yes,I believe in abstinence..I hope I was of some help. Read the Bible and Pray and have faith and ask for strength everyday esp if you are not a virgin..It 's harder then but I mean don't wait until u have a disease to do it..
One love

I think abstinence for all other men other than myself...and free love for me and all the world's women. Yeah, that would work for me.

Yes if you love some one you shouldn't have to have sex to show it. You should wait till your married by then you will know if you really love this person and should risk such a thing. And if you have sex anyway here's a little advice you will wish you never did that. Main point is you might not be ready.

We are told in the 10 commandments Thou shalt not commit adultry. Any sex before marriage is wrong and should be avoided. When you meet someone who you want to marry and spend your life with, then abstaning until the marriage makes it that much more special.
