I used to call Jamaica for $39.95 monthly and I get unlimited calling. The service is no longer available through the company and I make lots of calls to Jamaica. Does anyone know if there is such a service anymore?

Have you looked into Skype? It's becoming increasingly popular and I use it for oversea's calls. It's free to register and the calls are free if you're calling another registered user. I use it to communicate to someone in Germany. It's done the same as phone, but as you sit at your computer and talk into a microphone or your webcam microphone. You can either use the cam or keep it off.

Try one of those 10-10 numbers, that give very low rates for overseas calling.
You can Google the 10-10 and get a whole list of them on line.
I've used 10-10-811 and got some great prices for my calls to Scotland.
You may want to check out those Internet Phone companies, that Time Warner and others are offering.

do you have cablevision optimum online/optimum voice available? this is a cable internet VOIP (voice over IP aka internet) technology. they offer their base service for around $30/month first year and $40/month after. an additional $9.99 gets you "optimum world voice" which gives you unlimited calling anywhere.
