We are planning to take a New York City Pass for $54. What are the must see places in New York in a day?

must ride the Subway system, Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Ground Zero, Strawberry Fields, Trump Tower, Times Square, Empire State Building.

Ground Zero, Central Park, and the village. Be aware that tourist places like the empire state building have very long lines and waits ( Im talking like two hours!!)

You dont need the city pass..it is a waste for one day. Instead focus on what you want to do ie: shop, museums, etc. and go right to that area via taxi or if you are brave enough, bus or subway.

All three that I suggested are free, and can be done in one day.

Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Times Square and the NY Subway. I live in AZ and loved NY when I visited.

I would say Yankee Stadium, only because I am a Yankees fan. You should go look at the WTC site as well.
