Yes the puppie that I bought had worms now found out it has mange that it caught from his mother. It is the mange that is caught by humans, took him to the vet and received the medicine for him. Now I have caught it from him it really sucks, What kind of people would do this? Does anyone have any ideas on how long this will take to get rid of and my family how can I keep them from catching it? Help I am going to have more money in our health than what I paid for the dog.

The treatment for the puppy will take time, the vet should be able to tell you how long. Put the puppy in the pen and bleash the area often, use lateks gloves when handling the puppy or the items that it touches. Every 2-3 days throw out the old bedding and bleach the pen and the flooring again.
Don't let the family get near the pen and within a month - all will be better. Your vet should have told you more how to handle this case - please go back and get your questions answered or find a better vet.
Good luck and don't worry your little puppy will be worth it. We had a little foster puppy with mange and he is an awesome healthy dog now! Stick with it!

Maybe, if he has mange, you can kill the mange... Bring him in the bathtub and wash his head and bodies with some 2 part bleach solutions... Clean his butt with vinegar, so it don't cause harm to his pouch hanging down. good luck
