Go look on the box for the XP Pro discs at a store and it will say what is needed and what is recommended.

Here's the minimum requirements:

PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed recommended; 233 MHz minimum required (single or dual processor system);* Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible processor recommended

• 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM or higher recommended (64 MB minimum supported; may limit performance and some features)

• 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space*

As long as it as enough memory 512 or mre it will run if you only have 256 it will run but be aware the more programs you stick on it the slower it will run OK.

it may need a bigger hard drive
it co0uld need more memery
