There is some truth to this, even if a man masturbates occasionally, it is sometimes difficult to get an erection. The penis is a muscle and it needs to have that "muscle memory" of what to do...if it's been awhile, it may just need to be reminded a bit. Have fun.

No, men have erections all the time, 20+ times a day, wether we have sex or not. Just don't expect someone to last too long when he hasn't had sex in a while....

not having an erection can be the result of a lot of different factors tired stressed performance anxiety alcohol all will play a part have you been together long is he shy around you this will all affect his ability to "get it up"

If he can masturbate the problemis purely mental as if it was physical he wouldnt be able to Masturbate...If you've not been together long it may be nerves.
Im no expert but perhaps if you ask him if you can see him masturbating then you can try to "help" he'll be less nervous with you around his bits & you can gradually take it from there.
