My favorite large breed is the NewFoundland. I owned one several years ago. Her name was Jill. She was the sweetest dog I have ever had. She loved everyone. She was never aggressive. If anyone wants a large breed dog, I feel that this would be the best. They are also great with children. The only bad thing is they drool alot. I had to buy alot of bibs.

I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback.... which is my favorite,
but I also like Great Danes, Newfoundland, Portuguese Water Dog, Neapolitan Mastiffs, Argentinian Dogo, Irish Wolfhound (it is the biggest of them all), Bullmastiffs, Akitas and Komondor

Great Dane or St. Bernard. Gentle giants. I rescue/foster/adopt out both breeds. I have 2 mantle danes I am fostering right now.

My 2 girls, Grace and Chloe. Grace is a 6 yr old female PitBull/Akita mix and Chloe is a 4 yr old Rottweiler/Boston Terrier mix, and they are the greatest girls!
