Well the question would be, why are you in the Catholic Church in the first place? Were you brought up there as a child? Or did you choose to start attending as an adult?

Why did you have a leaving of the Catholic Church? Were you unhappy with the specific church you were in, or is it an over all unhappiness in the messages you receive at the Catholic Church?

I personally grew up in a Baptist church, not trying to convert you or anything. I actually don't go to Church, their either too small, or too hypocrytical half the time. I want to find a good Church but sometimes it is difficult.

So I understand some of where you're coming from.

Answer those questions for yourself and you'll know whether or not you should go back. Trust God no matter what, just because you don't attend church doesn't mean you don't believe in God.

This is a question only you can answer. Look deep in your heart and find the reason you left the Catholic Church and compare it to why you should get involved again. If that don't work go talk to a priest about your feelings and maybe he could help you get back on tract again cause it seems like your really disturbed about it.
By the way I'm not Catholic but I feel no matter how you believe you should be there for each other.

I am not catholic (or religious at all) so I can't give you a Biblical reason or a religious reason to go back to the catholic church, but I can think of one good reason anyway:

You miss it!

Do you miss the catholic church? Is there something about the ceremonies or the church services or the priests that makes you feel closer to god or your family or a happy childhood? Do you feel like you want to go back and try it again? Then you should! Follow your heart and you will be happy with you decision.

If you left the Catholic Church because you were not receiving what you need then no you shouldn't return.
Perhaps you need to find another Church where you will receive the Word of God in a manner that is educational and uplifting.
May God Bless.

Honestly, I can't give you a reason to go back unless I know the reasons you left. If you are contemplating other church's I'll just say that finding one that is completely based on the bible and on your own prayer is the best way to go. I can lead you to other church's but in the end it is your choice. God gave you free will, and it is your choice!

I go to a non-denominational church, I love it there. As I walk through the door I see "It's all about Jesus" and my Pastor always says that it's about a relationship with Jesus! I believe that and after a long search for Truth and a home church, I found it there!

I already answered once... however let me say it is YOUR CHOICE. Only if you feel confident should you return to the catholic church. When one belongs to an organization they should be prepared to abide by ALL the laws of that organization. It is only a choice you can make.

I was raised catholic and no long am a member of the catholic church. I do not BELONG to any specific denomination. I attend which ever church I happen to feel comfortable in. My allegience is to Jesus NOT to an organization.

Good luck and God bless you.

Personally, I find organized religion to be difficult and that most people are happier worshiping in their own way. My family is Catholic and I always found it hard to feel brotherly love whilst being ***** slapped by a nun. That is why I am no longer affiliated with any religion or church. But I do understand why people enjoy it becuase there is most definitly a sense of community and stability.

The reason people are telling you to "find God" and so on is because not all people that are Catholics are Christians.

So, they want to make sure you are a christian.

Most Catholics follow the church's teaching and it isn't Biblical.

Sorry, but I don't see why you should. The Catholic church is full of traditions that aren't biblical. I think you should find a church, that tries to teach people to live according to what the Bible teaches us.
Just ask God for wisdom and guidance.

That is a question you need to ask yourself...because when I joined a church, I joined with the attitude about what could I do for God and the church, not what the church could do for me....
