What are the proper procedures to record over a DVD-RW disk that has been filled on Sylvania DVR91DG recorder?

I just bought a DVD recorder, and in reading the manual, on rewriting a disc, it states that you need to hit the overwrite button, to do the rewrite.
Check the manual on yours, it may or may not be the same.

You just record over it, just like its a blank one.

The best way is to Erase it, then record.
