Ive been told by some girls that Im "too short"... even by girls shorter than me... what the hell is that all about?? On the other hand most of the girls Ive dated have been about my height... I dont want to have to bend over.

5'9" is the average height of a male. Don't worry about it. Maybe those girls want a giant!

Hey man I feel ya. I'm about the same height as you and just yesterday an 8th grader who was about the same height as me said I was short for a 20-year-old and I surprised him by telling him how tall I was and he told me that he didn't even know what his height was. He probably still thinks that he's 5'0" or something, but anyway no you're not short at all. Anything under 5'7" for a guy is considered short. 5'9" is average.

Size matters but not always... friend ur attitude decides ur altitude...So change ur thinking first.. Some of the best know personality in the world have been shorter than you.. but their attitude was sky high.
Change ur attitude and remove the self doubt and then see that you are tall and you would feel tall.

Hey you're as tall as me, so you're not short. Short to me is anyone two-three inches shorter....so you're fine. Maybe those girls associate height with the size of somethin else, and that's their way of letting you down.

I don't think it's short. To me, that's a great height. I'm 5' 7" and I'm tall for a girl, but mostly everyone I've dated is from 5' 7" to 5' 11". Don't listen to those dumb girls. Have you seen the 4 foot 2 girls with the 6 foot 5 guys (mostly cowboys) How stupid do they look???

Depends on how old you are. If ur 14 or younger its normal. At that age girls are taller than you because of pueberty. If ur older than that get that height max stuff I saw on television. A guy I know used it and grew 5 inches in 6 months. I'm 13 and my boyfriend is like 6 inches shorter than me and he's getting taller I'm sure you will too. good luck.

I don't think 5'9" is too short for a guy! Iam only 5'4"... although girls usually like taller guys... even me... i would date someone 5'9"

Height matters to women the way weight matters to men - that's just the way it is. At barely 5 feet tall, I've always dated men 6 feet and over - the tallest was 6' 4" ...... All of them were into petite girls. Then I met a guy who is 5' 7" and is perfect in every way for me and the whole height issue went out the window. In fact, I can't imagine dating anyone tall now as I love the way it feels to snuggle in and slow dance with a guy closer to my own height and who is still taller than me when I wear my heels. Concentrate on your personality and keeping yourself in overall good health and shape - the chances are that there are girls out there who will appreciate the valuable sides of you and not give a care about the height in the end.

Lets face the truth here. 5'9'' is extremely short. Everyone in my class is over 6' I'm the midget.
