Thank you for voicing your Truths. Whether they are right or wrong, to me it doesn't matter. I feel blessed that you have the Trust in your convictions to voice and learn. I am sorry for all the arrogant answers, from both the creationists and those of the evolutionists It just proves my point, we don't allow anyone to voice their facts without ridiculing them. God Bless. The Joy is in the Journey. Peace and Love

Personally, I have to give the nod to the Theory of Evolution...
For, even if the Theory of Evolution is flawed, at least it rests on evidence which is empirically based. As for your 'illusion of life' remark, I have always had a problem with these types of inane and facile arguments given by hard-line, dogmatic Christians; it doesn't matter to the Bible-Thumper what one says or how well one says it;
...if it goes against Scripture --- then THEY ARE WRONG!
Fundamentalist Christians fail to understand that The Bible is little more than a collection of imaginary causes and effects, and it distresses them intensely when you point it out to them.
That's why I seldom even try to make a point with them anymore: It's like beating a Savior to death, and only then to be resurrected and beaten to death again, and again, and again;...it just gets old after a while.
"The Christian conception of God…- is one of the most corrupt conceptions of God arrived at on earth.:... In God nothingness defied, the will to nothingness sanctified!..."
- Nietzsche
p.s. andre: Your response reeks of dogmatic ignorance. However, if barking at the moon makes you and your lowbrow kind feel any better about the meaning and origin of life then go ahead --- bark your heads off. But, please, do it someplace where those of us who have the ability to 'think' won't have to hear you...

Have you ever wondered why scientists and mathematicians don't believe in God whatsoever? This is because it isn't scientifically possible for there to be an Adam and Eve that started life. It isn't possible. I'm not trying to challenge your or anyone elses beliefs because I think believing in religion gives people something to look forward to after death. It gives people a sense of security in this world or ups and downs. What I am saying is that I don't believe anything the bible says about God. I do believe that some of these people did exist. I believe that Jesus was a person, but I don't think he died on the cross for our sins. Many people were killed by being hanged on a cross, it was a typical type of killing people back then. I respect your beliefs, but I do not agree with them.

Evolution is, simply put, change over time. This is accomplished either slowly, over a long period of time, or more quickly, a short period of time. All of this change is guided by what Darwin called Natural Selection, sometimes called "the survival of the fittest". It is better to put it as "survival of the best able to adapt to changes". Sharks, alligators, cockroaches are a few species that have been around many years with little change, they are just great at adapting! God allows man free will, why wouldn't He allow for other life on the planet to change and adapt (evolve) for what man does to the planet?

Following that line of reasoning, the bible could have been left behind to cast doubt on the true nature of things. This sounds like some convoluted version of Decarte's original idea that possibly we're all dreaming and under the influence of a demonic force, which was later defeated with his assertion of "I think therefore I am."

I think you are on to something! In fact I think the moon doesn't exist either and is just the devil painting a picture in the sky and all the craters on the earth are footsteps of the devil and lava is the devil's blood and witches fly on brooms and the ginger bread man runs really fast and little Miss Muffit sat on her tuffit eating curds and whey......
Why do I believe this?Because I know that if I can see it and prove it then it must be false and if I can imagine it and believe it then anything magical and totally asinine can be real......lol

Completely unlikely and a rationalization to preserve Literalist interpretation of the bible, but....
It's not new.

VVVTo below: Ridiculous. If the theory was bogous, the money they make would be taken away faster than ever. The research they do is for real world problems and if the theories they propose were false, their conclusions would lead to faulty treatments.
Things like Comparative Genomics would be a crock.

Interesting conspiracy theory, sounds like fodder for a feature Hollywood film! I like the part about Satan planting the bones.
By the way though you have been brainwashed. Just my view!
There is godness (not "a" God though, or a "he" because that means he is not a she and if he is not a she then he has a penis and testes, God has a penis??) but godness and godliness is in the details, especially in nature this is evident! Have a great day goodness bless.

Glad you don't believe in evolution, but your theory is kinda twisted itself. In the book of Genesis (in the bible) it says God created ALL the animals. And then soon after that he created man.
In the book of Job (pronounced J-O-B-E, also in the bible mentions the Leviathan and behemoth (chap. 40) More than likely, dinosaurs.
I can't give a definite theory to why there are no more Dino's, but one more than likely theory is the biblical flood.

A very immaginative viewpoint.
I cannot argue.
However, mine is that the Bible does not conflict with Darwin.
Truthfully, I think you idea is interesting, maybe unique, but a stretch. Perhaps it is the beginning of a search for the truth. I am 52. I am still searching. Best wishes and God bless.

WWW.DRDINO.COM then go to the "articles" page. There you will find many answers to question like these WITH sicentific proof. By the way Dr.Kent Hovind offers $250,000 to anyone who can prove evolution...never been claimed, any of you scientists want to take a try...? That what I thought, but visit that site for some great information.
