Check with your doctor before starting any weight loss program.
Anyone who attempts to lose weight by reducing calorie consumption experiences feelings of hunger and fatigue. Hoodia diet pills attempt to reduce those feelings, making it easier to stick to a low calorie diet and therefore lose weight. As with any weight loss plan, only people who are in good health should use hoodia diet pills and they should be used in conjunction with appropriate diet and exercise. Because thirst is suppressed as well as appetite, it is important to remember to drink plenty of water. Most experts recommend eight 8 ounce glasses per day to maintain proper hydration. Other than thirst suppression, there are no known side effects associated with hoodia diet pills and they are probably a much better choice than diet pills containing stimulants.
I tried Hoodia and......
Hoodia has worked for me...and with no side effects.
For all you doubters, here is the prior feedback for another Answers user who followed my advice:

**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---
#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!
#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!
#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.
#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
Hoodia (HOOD-ee-uh) gordonii - A genus of 10 to 20 species from southwestern Africa.
Hoodia gordonii is the stoneage wonder plant found throughout the dry arid regions of the South western African continent now on the verge of making history in the fight against obesity. It is a genus belonging to the Asclepiadaceae family which consists of approximately 20 species. Used to stop hunger, quench thirst, and provide energy among other things since prehistoric times, Hoodia gordonii was first discovered by the San tribesmen and women to get through the most difficult of times.

Oh please. Don't watse your money on crap weight loss diets. You want to lose weight? DO IT THE RIGHT WAY!
Sure, I can completely understand if your problems with getting the results from the wrong info about your workout or diet. This isn't about wasting your money on some useless ab workout or stupid weight loss product or other useless supplements and products that wern't working for you. This is about food cravings. Don't whine to me. I've heard it before. 'Its so bad, I'm around this type of food all the tiime.' Stop it, your broing me.
Dont give me your little stories. Like how your around this type of food all the time. Do you think your the only one, buddy? There is crappy food is everywhere i look. I am no different than you, except I dont give in. Do I have super human powers? NO! I dont give in becuse I am mentally stronger than you. How does that make you feel? I dont know a damn thing about you, but I know mentally, I can do something you cannot. it sure makes me feel good. Do yourself a favour, restrict fatty foods and excercise, taking drugs wont help, you'll be back up to lard land in no time.
Sorry, did I hurt your feelings yet? I didn't mean too, I'm just stating the truth. So you undertand this is all mental right? Do you UNDERSTAND that is is a matter of mind? Good. RESTRICT FAT AND SUGAR> EAT YER VEGGIES!

Hoodia & the Blowfish? Weren't they a band? Try a gradual regimen of walking or swimming to jump start your metabolism, and get you on the right track to weight loss.
Not some supposed weight loss drug, that you need to ask questions on in a Yahoo forum.

is long known by the indigenous populations of Southern Africa, who infrequently use these plants for treating indigestion and small infections.
United Kingdom-based Phytopharm teamed with drug giant Pfizer to isolate active ingredients and look into synthesizing the extracts for use as an appetite suppressant. Pfizer released the rights to the primary ingredient in 2002. Paul Hutson, associate professor in the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy, told the Wisconsin State News, "For Pfizer to release something dealing with obesity suggests to me that they felt there was no merit to its oral use" (Rath 2005). Pfizer states that development on P57, the active ingredient of Hoodia, was stopped due to the difficulty of synthesizing P57. (Morris, Seattle Times March 9, 2006)
In December 2004 Unilever entered into an agreement with Phytopharm to start marketing Hoodia gordonii commercially in the form of shakes and diet bars.
Only one scientific study has been published in which the extract was injected directly into the brain of rats (MacLean 2004). No published double-blind scientific trials have been performed on humans to investigate the safety or effectiveness of Hoodia gordonii in pill form as a nutritional supplement.
The press coverage and heavy marketing by nutritional supplement companies have created such a demand for Hoodia plants that a protected status was imposed in several countries like Namibia. Many products claiming to contain Hoodia do not actually contain the active ingredient alleged to suppress appetite.
Lack of scientific evidence or regulatory approval have not stopped dietary supplement companies from marketing Hoodia gordonii extracts with claims that it can lower blood pressure and reduce the appetite. Goen Technologies Corporation's TrimSpa unit began marketing Hoodia gordonii under the brand name X32 with celebrity spokesperson Anna Nicole Smith, even though the FDA has notified Trimspa that it hasn’t demonstrated that the product is safe or effective.
In 2004, 60 Minutes correspondent Lesley Stahl traveled to Africa to try Hoodia gordonii for herself. According to Stahl, she did not have a normal "pang around mealtime," concluding, "I'd have to say it did work."
In March 2006, Consumer Reports investigated the dietary supplement and concluded, "This weight loss drug lacks the clinical evidence for the Consumer Reports experts to recommend this product."
In the spring of 2006, billions of spams were sent out concerning Hoodia, ostensibly offering Hoodia extracts for weight control purposes. As is usually the case with spam, it is not clear what prompted the sudden barrage of spam messages, since there had not been any recent positive media coverage about Hoodia, nor any signs of increasing public interest in Hoodia.
