If you have a lot of natural wood trim and furniture, a more traditional palette would work. Golds, burgundies, muted sage greens, etc.
If you prefer a more contemporary look I would go with shades of Gray. A white ceiling with charcoal Gray walls and stainless accessories looks sharp.

Clear colors: white or pastels. Not bright!
Reasons: 1. Every now and then you have to look away from the screen to rest your sight, light colors help to rest your eyes.
2. PCs generate heat. Dark colors absorb heat you'll get a warmer enviromet. Clear colors dissipate heat you'll get a cooler room.

black and white checkers maybe striped look at some of your fav designs around the house and online im sure youll find somethin you could even have a picture like maybe of someone you love or something you love or just paint it your fav color
