Because your endorphins kick in and rush to the site of the wound...taking away the focus for a moment of the actual problem. You may want to find another outlet for your pain, one that can help you overcome it permanantly instead of fleetingly. Maybe try releasing the pain through written word or music. These really helped me when I was doing the same.

I don't know why it is, but you can't keep doing it to yourself. It will make things worse if you continue.

You have to learn to stop hating yourself because you are killing yourself with stress. Try to find something that makes you happy, and concentrate on the things you do like about yourself. I know it sounds cheesy, but that's all I can tell you. Don't do it anymore please!

There is no reason worth cutting yourself over. If this brings pleasure to you, then you need to seek medical help. ASAP!!

It does not get rid of the pain. You could die doing this. Please go and see a counselor or physician. I do not know how old you are, but please tell someone. If you can't tell your parents, tell another adult. I wish you luck.
