I think you answered it correctly. People are energy based. They unknowningly try to balance their mood and feelings by reacting to the people around them. If they are feeling unintelligent or trying to hold onto a feeling of dominent intelligence they will bring the question asker down. This makes them feel good. But again, I really think most do it unknowingly.

Because you think that they think they are clever, be calm please then look at what is happening this afternoon then you will see the trees are green but their branches has a logarithmic curve if you solve the differential equation belonging that curve then you would see another parabola which has grown by the previous
curve because that curve rises as the time passes and the voltage drop when it's night and the people have fallen to sleep I saw Gulliver yesterday and asked him how was he? told me thank you very well but today I heard the he is prisoned at some prison and the little men has eaten her brain while he had laid down om the ground upon soft grasses, then he took his sword

I'm finding that people on Yahoo answers think it's a game. They're really only on here for the points or to fulfill some sort of void in their lives. I got on here initially because I thought it was a really cool idea on how to get information on some rather obscure topics but quickly found out that not everyone felt that way. Now i've learned how to filter through things.
I'm guilty for being sarcastic sometimes. But that's when I can't ignore and ignorant or stupid questions. Sometimes some of them make my blood boil, lol.

Ya know, - you throw these questions out to the general public, you claim that you rejoice in 'diversity' and different opinions and perceptions. You want "no-holds-bars" when it comes to answers, but then you cry about some answer being PC "incorrect" and how your feewings got hurt.
Read all the answers - you come to find out that the least of the answers is actually the greatest. And maybe that sarcastic b*stard had it right the whole time, what were you thinking of when you wrote that stupid question?? At least you gain something from all those "diverse" opinions, - at least one person (appeared) to think it was stupid.

To be honest some people do ask questions that are ridiculous only to get a rise out of others. While other people ask questions because they do not know the answer. But some questions are too close to being ridiculous. None-the-less, some people just like to be jerks about answering questions because they think they know it all or have some kind of complex issues.

I feel the same way. Some peolple are here to get advice from others who are in or been through the same situation. There is no excuse for the way some of these sarcastic people act.

You are right. People who do this are trying to boost their own ego at others expense. They like to stir up trouble.
