I'm 100% Puertorican. Born in San Juan and I live right now in Trujillo Alto. And I'm proud of it.

I hate when ignorant people just assume stuff about a place they don't even know. And people say that Americans are tolerant, look what they want to do to inmigrants and all they've done to black people over centuries and what they still endure.

It is incredible how ignorant the majority of so called 100% Americans tend to be on the issue of other cultures, language and people. Puerto Rico is a lovely island with beautiful people. The island has its problems like any other place in the world. People need to read, listen and understand other histories.

By the way calling yourself 100% American is an insult to the Native Americans, who are 100% Americans.

Damn "100%AMERICAN" ... Puerto Rico and USA [P.R. is part of the U.S. by the way] has its faults just like the rest of the world. Nobody is perfect and no country is different from the next. This is why the majority of the world dislikes Americans because of Americans like you for making such ignorant comments.

So before you put your finger on one little country like P.R. point at your own [especially your government] before you make another comment like that.

PS: in response to the question... Santurce [madre].

I'm not Boriquen (Puerto Rican), but I love the island. And sometimes tell ppl i'm from there. I'd have to be from Condado, San Juan.
