If you don't like dresses try a nice pair of slacks and a short sleeve blouse or dressy tank top w/ a light dress jacket.

OMG. A semi-formal wedding ceremony after 5 isn't the position to placed on a corporation in structure, a sundress, capri pants, or perhaps slacks, except they're tuxedo slacks or different formal slacks, adapted, and quite dressy. A semi-formal wedding ceremony in this time of three hundred and sixty 5 days should be a gown or a really very impressive skirt with a superbly embellished properly - I also trust the fellow above about a captivating tuxedo outfit likely being sturdy for you. you should no longer look as in case you'll artwork - you should look as in case you'll a social gathering - a impressive one at that. i visit link to outfits that's suited. it received't comprise matches, capris, or some thing informal in nature. If the marriage social gathering has been certain adequate to specify that that is semi-formal, you want to abide through it and under no circumstances pay interest to at least one/2 the crap indexed the following. the adult males are meant to be in jackets and ties, if no longer matches, so donning some thing informal will make you stick out like a sore thumb.

A floor length gown in any color would be good because it could hide whatever shoes you are wearing. But then nothing beats a suit that consists of a top, {not revealing or V-neck} and some matching pants and a jacket. They have to be the same fabric and the same color otherwise they won't match. If you can't find what you're looking for ask someone in the wedding party what what the attire is, I'm sure they'll know! Check this website below for more help.

traditionally i would say i dress nothign fancy maybe a light and flowing sundress but i would most definitly say stay in your comfort zone ...try a nice pair of dress pants or a dress suit you can get them at walmart....or try a dress suit(pants and coat) with a bright cami underneath....or just dress pants and a button up shirt... either or wear a nice pair of dress shoes nobody said it had to be heels cause as we all know they can start to hurt after a while, but something that is still feminine and cute at the same time.( a little hint no matter what shoes you wear if you picked the right slacks the will cover justabout every inch of your shoes except for toes... so you can still conceal most of the shoe and noone will know if they're heels or flats or just open toe dress sandal )you don't have to be formal and uncomfortable you can look great and feel great at the same time..hope you have fun.

First of all, take off the flip flops.

Once I went to a wedding in khaki capris and a very nice vibrant blouse and pumps.

But, I would need more information. If it's in a church, you should definitely wear a dress. But if it's outdoors, slacks or dress are good. I think if it's at a hotel, you might be able to get away with dark slacks or capris.

Normally a nice sun dress is what is called for in a semi-formal setting but since you are not comfortable then I would suggest a pant suite

You should probably wear semi-formal attire to a semi-formal wedding, if that makes any sense.
