It means they sighed.

Next time, perhaps you might ask, "I'm not sure what you meant by that comment. Is there any additional information you need about that question that I can give you?" You might hear, "Oh, it wasn't a comment, I am just tired. Thanks."

It's better than trying to be a mindreader.

It usually means that you are boring him and that he is losing interest. However, if he is really busy or something came up right befor the interview, that could be on his mind. He has a criteria to follow in an interview and he might just need to hurry. Just remember to be honest and direct, as well as cheerful and unstressed. That way they will think you are confident and feel better about your employment.

As one who hires for my office, I can tell you that's not good. I can usually tell within five minutes if I'm even going to consider an individual. And to me it sounds as if you have officially bored this person. But it doesn't necessarily mean you won't get the job, just means you aren't really impressive. If they don't find someone, and you are the better over-all candidate, then you'll get hired.

Good luck.

This is hard to tell. Did he sigh because he's tired or because of the way you have answered your questions. If its the latter, then there is the possiblity that you are not the one for the job.
