Absolutely. Don't let it get to room temperature, raw or cooked and if it is brown and raw it is bad. Mold can grow on old bacon when it is raw. It is hard to categorize bacon as bad or good just based on smell unless it is really old.

Any Raw meat will go bad, cooked meat will also go bad, but takes a little bit longer.

Yes. It can be refrigerated for about 3 weeks (if still in the vacuum seal- less if it's open) or frozen for 3 months, but after that it is no good.

any food product will go bad if left to the air or it is just too old. Invest in one of those food savers that suck the air out of the package and seal it, to store your leftovers or separate the new foods you buy into smaller packages. Those things work great!

Yes it does, as does all pork.

Cook it and put it in the fridge and you can make it last a little longer. (If it is still within the expiration date.)
