Find something you can enjoy together and spend some time with him. It's more appreciated than anything you can buy. You might even find out that you enjoy it and learn some things about your family that you didn't know. Life passes by too fast...make the most of the time you have with him.

Celebrate Father's Day by sharing it with him.

If your Dad already has plenty of "stuff", you could get him something consumable, like a subscription to Beer of the Month Club or some such service. A gift certificate to a nice restaurant would serve the same function.

Give him a complete day off. Mow the lawn for him, do the laundry for him, do the dishes for him, iron a couple shirts. Just let him sit outside / inside and read a book, watch a ball game, drink a beer, etc.

Buy one of those blank cards and write in it, telling him how much you appreciate him. (Better write it out on a piece of paper and copy it! ☺) I guarantee he will treasure that card more than any gift you could buy him.
