None are related by blood, except his cousins James and Jude. The Jews of Jesuss time were very close. The word brother also included cousins as well as the word sisters. We know from very early Christian writings that Jesu did not have any brothers or sisters.

They were not all related to Him by blood. They were His chosen disciples set aside for the purpose of building the early Church and spreading the Gospel.

Well they aren't really related to him personally. Spiritually they are. And we all are related to eachother (hey sister or brother!) because Adam and Eve, remember? So we all are related to eachother and God. Maybe that's how Jesus is related to his disciples. Who knows? Only God!

They weren't all related, only one, James was his half brother. Disciples are called to serve Christ. Now days, as Christians we are all called to serve Christ.

all people are brothers and sisters, children of God, the desciples were only related to Jesus in this manner, Jesus picked them out of fishermen, and categories that was beneficial to the task at hand.
